Askaynak SUPERMIG® 355SP is a semi-automatic and synergetic pulsed inverter gas arc welding machine that is widely used in many fields, especially in the automotive industry, metal furniture production, shipping industry, pressure vessel production, and steel manufacturing industry.

Features

• By using the synergetic mode feature, it is sufficient to adjust only the wire feed speed. The voltage rate is automatically controlled and adjusted by the machine.
• Pulse technology has been developed to burn the oxide at the source of materials with a dense oxide layer on the surface, especially aluminum. “Peak current” breaks down the oxide on the material, while “undercurrent” creates penetration. In a pulsed arc, a drop breaks off from the wire at each impact and this drop passes into the weld pool without short-circuiting. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to weld without spatter.
• 2/4 Trigger Mode options.
• Soft-Start feature facilitates arc formation at the beginning of the welding process and a Soft-End feature prevents crater cracking and porosity formation at the end of the welding process.
• Burnback Control feature ensures that the welding wire coming out of the contact nozzle is of an appropriate length and does not stick to the contact nozzle after welding.
• Pre-Gas and Post-Gas times can be adjusted. By this means, a smooth start at the beginning of the welding and an ideal gas protection at the end of the welding are obtained during the set time.
• Arc Force and Hot Start features (in MMA mode).
• Memory feature that provides quick access to prerecorded welding parameters. Four separate records can be stored in the memory.
• Two digital displays for welding current and welding voltage.
• Thermal protection circuit and warning lamp against thermal overloads.
