COVID-19 Update at Lincoln Electric

COVID-19 UPDATE:

Safety is Lincoln Electric’s number one priority. Knowing that we are part of so many critical supply chains and serve customers who use our products in mission-critical applications in areas such as medical, military, utilities, and transportation, keeps us operating during this challenging time and further advancing our procedures.

With a manufacturing presence in 18 countries, our international facilities are operating at varying levels as we comply with local and regional regulations, restrictions and prevailing commercial conditions. We are closely monitoring evolving conditions for potential operational and supply chain disruptions and have developed contingency measures to minimize the impact to our business.

In the United States, our organization is considered an essential supplier to a number of Critical Infrastructure Sectors, as defined by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within the Department of Homeland Security, and our employees are identified as essential critical infrastructure workers who “work to protect their communities, while ensuring continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.”

While operational, we have instituted aggressive changes to our business practices to protect our employees, partners and communities. These changes do not impact our ability to serve customers, but help protect the health and welfare of all of our stakeholders. These changes include enhanced hygiene and sanitation practices, social distancing, travel and visitor restrictions, and maximizing remote and flexible work arrangements, among other actions. We are continuing to monitor guidance from regulatory bodies, including local, state and federal officials, the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization and will continue to enhance our practices as necessary.

Our efforts to remain safe and operational are focused on supporting our customers and the communities in which we live and work.
