DETAILS
AS 231S is an agglomerated rutile type flux, additive in Mn and Si, suitable for welding general structural steels in two passes or three passes in single or multi-wires at high speed with excellent bead appearance. Relatively high silicon pick-up. Not to be used in multi-pass technique. Excellent slag removal in fillet and root passes. AS 231S can be welded on DC+ or AC at up to 1200 Amps per wire.
