LINCORE® 35-S Metal-Cored Submerged Arc Wire is designed for mild and low alloy steels, intended for rolling and sliding with unlimited deposit thickness (Metal-to-Metal)

DETAILS

LINCORE® 35-S ideal for tractor rollers, idlers, trunnions, crane wheels, mine car wheels, track rails, shafts and bearing journals for moderate impact and abrasion applications during automatic and semiautomatic operations.

Features

  • Intended for rolling and sliding metal-to-metal wear with moderate impact and abrasion
  • For automatic and semiautomatic operation on mild and low alloy steels
  • Recommended as final overlay where medium hardness and good machinability are required
  • Unlimited deposit thickness with proper preheat and interpass temperatures and procedures
  • Weld with Lincore® 801 or Lincore® 802

Typical Applications

  • For Build-Up: Tractor rollers, Idlers, Trunnions, Crane wheels and Caster rolls
  • For Hardfacing: Mine car wheels, track rails, Shafts and Bearing journals

Welding Positions

  • Flat/Horizontal
