DETAILS

OE-SD3 is a copper coated SAW wire for welding unalloyed steel grades in demanding applications. The wire is especially designed to be used in multi-run applications with OP 121TT and generates exceptional mechanical properties down to -60°C. This wire is also recommended for Long Stick Out (LSO) applications on larger diameters (4.0mm) when combined with OP 121TT and can deposit up to 17kg/h using this technique. When High welding speeds are required (in excess of 700mm/min) OP 128TT is recommended.

  • Capable of producing weld deposits with impact properties exceeding 47 J at -62°C when used with OP121TT in As Welded or after post weld heat treatment conditions
