TECHALLOY® 625 Tungsten Inert Gas Rod designed for MIG, TIG and SAW welding of nickel-chromium-molybdenum cladding alloys. This filler metal may be used for cladding and welding dissimilar base metals such as Ni-Cr-Mo alloys to stainless and carbon steels.

DETAILS

TECHALLOY® 625 is designed to match the composition and properties of alloy 625. The Ni-Cr-Mo alloy system provides excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments, with the high molybdenum content providing good stress, pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.

Features

  • Designed to match the composition and properties of Alloy 636
  • The Ni-Cr-Mo alloy system provides excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments
  • The high molybdenum content provides good stress, pitting and crevice corrosion resistance
  • Most popular nickel alloy for cladding
  • Provides high temperature strength and structural stability
  • Q2 Lot® - Certificate showing actual wire composition available online
