- The weld metal has excellent creep strength up to 850°C.
- Kobatek 818 is ideal for joining for stainless steel of similar composition and gives radiographic quality weld beats recommended for welding AlSi316, 317 and 318 type of stainless steels.
- Deposits exhibit a smooth even shaped bead and ease of slag removal.
