DETAILS
WEARSHIELD® 44 stick electrode is ideal for hardfacing applications needing moderate hardness up to 600°C (1100°F). Can be used on carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast iron, austenitic manganese steels and austenitic stainless steels. Typical applications include buckets, chain links, pulleys, ingot tongs and rolling mill guides. It can be welded in flat & horizontal positions.

- Moderate hardness to resist abrasion with impact up to 600°C (1100°F)
- Higher alloy results and improved spalling resistance than Wearshield® ABR
- Can be used on carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast irons, austenitic manganese steels and austenitic stainless steels
