ER 16.8.2 is SAW wire developped to weld 300H stainless steel. It has a controlled composition to optimised performance in structural service at temperatures up to 800°C

Traits

  • High resistance to thermal embrittlement
  • Excellent toughness at low temperatures
  • Higher creep resistance than 308H grade
  • Designed to weld 304H, 316H, 321 and 347H base materials
