Heat Wave Sync

AD1253-69

Provides user interface to change weld parameters in the right, center, and left portion of a weave cycle. Requires ArcTool Ramping Software and Constant Path options.

DETAILS

Heat Wave Sync provides a method to improve control over welding arc energy distribution across the weld by synchronizing weld schedules with the torch weave position.

Features

  • Provides user interface to change weld parameters in the right, center, and left portion of a weave cycle.
  • HeatWave can improve process tolerance to weld joint fit-up variation, control weld bead profile, and accommodate differential heat sink due to weld joint asymmetry.
  • HeatWave can either switch from the center weld schedule weld parameter values to the left/right values during the weave dwell period or it can ramp the reference values from the center to the left and right values.
  • In V8.20 and newer Heat Wave also includes J584 : Low-Freq Pulse Weld.
