TECH-ROD® 55 Stick Electrode is designed for welding dissimilar nickel alloys, carbon steels or low alloy steels.

DETAILS

TECH-ROD® 55 produces moderately hard welds and require carbide tipped tools for machining, readily used for welding of ductile, pliable cast irons and to repair castings.

Features

  • The welds are moderately hard and require carbide tipped tools for machining
  • A preheat and inter-pass temperature of not less than 350°F (177°C) is required during welding to prevent cracking
