Cooper App Software Update V1.5.2 is now available for Cooper GoFa welding cobots and Cooper CRX* welding cobots. Use the Cooper App software update guides for GoFa and CRX cobots to help you install the updates.
V1.5.2 contains new major features on the Cooper App:
- Simple Search, a.k.a. Touch Sensing, helps adjust the weld for moving or non-repetitive parts.
- Tracking, a.k.a. TAST, helps keep the Cooper cobot in a joint.
- Weld Angle Tuner helps set the exact torch angle and push angle for your weld easily in degrees.
- Production Mode gives you the ability to take qualified programs and queue them into an operational workflow.
- Service Routine helps maintain good nozzle and tip conditions for enhanced welding performance.
- Stainless weld sets
*NOTE for Cooper CRX welding cobots:
- Thick Plate Weld Package (A2020787-R877) is required to unlock advanced processes (i.e. Multi-Pass, Tracking (TAST), and Simple Search (Touch Sensing)). Please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page to inquire about Cooper cobot software package options.
- Software updates to your tablet (TP_27) and robot (P50) software are required in order for the Cooper App V1.5.2 software to perform properly.
Installation should take place in this order:
1. Tablet Software Update
2. Robot Software Update
3. Cooper App (if applicable)
